We have an opportunity for an B2 engineer to join a growing team at our Northampton
Main Base facility. The hub of our heavy maintenance operations, our Sywell base
supports a varied fleet of VIP and Air Ambulance aircraft of AW109 and AW169 variants
at the base and across local line stations.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include: –
o Supervise B2 maintenance activities and teams.
o Carry out & certify aircraft maintenance tasks.
o Carry out Line maintenance activities and defect rectification.
o Champion safety and quality across the department.

B1.3 Base Engineers

Personnel
1. Supervise assigned staff as supervising engineer.

Technical
1. Lead B2 activities in line with the production plan.
2. Carry out Line maintenance and defect rectification tasks.
3. Supervise/undertake certification of maintenance activities.
4. Carry out avionics workshop and battery bay activities.
5. Provide trade assessments for internal departments, SBs, ADs and customer requests.

Planning
1. Report on Aircraft Status information as required by Base Senior Engineer for assigned activities.
2. Assign and supervise staff assigned as required by production goals.

Production Support
1. Maintain avionics workshop and equipment.
2. Maintain maintenance records and company documentation IAW procedures.
3. Support change project activities.
4. Undertake other duties that may be required by the role that develop.
5. Travel to other locations as required to undertake assigned projects.
 
Safety & Quality
1. Promote safety and reporting culture within the team.
2. Assist Base Senior Engineer in safety and finding investigations.
3. Provide information to ESAG.
4. Communicate safety and quality targets, feedback and information to team.
