Job Title: Helicopter Services Director (Nominated post holder – Flight Ops)
Location: Home based with the requirement to regularly attend various DAA locations including Exeter Head Office, Exeter and Eaglescott (North Devon) Airbases.
Reports to: Chief Executive / Accountable Manager
Salary: £82,000 per annum
Hours: Average 37.5 per week flexitime
The Helicopter Services Director is responsible for providing the CEO / Accountable Manager, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Boards of both Charity and Trading Company with timely and relevant information to support decision making as well as facilitate delivery of the wider strategic goals of the organisation as set out in the Strategic Plan.
The role involves corporate responsibility for all aspects of flight operations and continuing airworthiness including maintenance, engineering and repairs.
An articulate, technically strong, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
